It's been twelve months since we did our 1st longrange sport fishing charter aboard local whale watching charter vessel Freedom III . We are excited to announce that these trips will now be offered outside of whale season from November - to December each year in future

We spend most of our time fishing between the light ship and lady Elliot Island above the Break Sea Spit this trip

Andrew "Chozza" Chorley with a couple of hussar that like lucanus jigs !

Check out the colours in this amazing Tomato Cod which also ate a Lucanus jig

We caught some beautiful reef species on Lucanus jigs including this amazing lunar trout

Some great AJ's to christen my new Stella 20,000 SWB & Ocea jig combo on

William with another thumping AJ taken deep jigging in 140 metres of water with a 400 gram knife jig

Not all of them made it back intact

Finished the trip off with a blinder soft plastic session on some bombies - Chozza with a cracking Sweety
